1 arrested, 1 still wanted in kidnapping at Wood County laundromat

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — One person was behind bars in Wood County on Saturday morning for a July 7 kidnapping reported at a Parkersburg laundromat and a second suspect was being sought.

Quincy Alex Lewis, 32, of Parkersburg was arrested on Friday night, according to Parkersburg Police. Detectives were still searching for an alleged accomplice, identified as Glennell Dorsett.

Video posted to social media allegedly showed Lewis and Dorsett approaching the victim at the laundromat located on Parkersburg’s St. Mary’s Avenue.

They allegedly pulled the victim to the ground by her hair, kicked her in the face and forced her out of the business and into a vehicle.

Police were notified after the three left the laundromat and they were stopped nearby, investigators said.
