WVSP looking for man wanted on third-degree sexual assault

McDOWELL COUNTY, W.Va. — The West Virginia State Police is asking for the public to be aware of a man wanted on third-degree sexual assault.

Frederick Sam Lee Benfield, 37, was last seen in the Berwind area.

According to authorities, he is around 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighs between 189 and 210 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the West Virginia State Police at 304-436-2101.
