MARTINSBURG, WV – West Virginia Radio Corporation station WICL (95.9 The Big Dawg) has announced it will be the radio home for Shepherd University football and men’s basketball.
All Shepherd Rams football and basketball games will air on 95.9 The Big Dawg and BigDawgFM.com beginning September 2 with the Rams’ home game vs. Notre Dame College.
“Shepherd athletics is extremely excited about the new partnership with West Virginia Radio Corporation. We look forward to the opportunity to expand the footprint of both our football and basketball programs as well as our great university within the state,” said Chauncey Winbush, Vice President for athletics at Shepherd University.
“The Shepherd University athletic department is first class in every respect,” said WICL/WEPM station manager Jeff Adams. “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to bring listeners all the action and excitement of Rams football and basketball starting this September.”
WICL and WEPM are locally owned and operated in Martinsburg by West Virginia Radio Corporation.
