Wetzel County residents begin drying out

HUNDRED, W.Va. — Wetzel County was among those parts of northern West Virginia hammered with intense rainfall Friday night and Saturday morning.

As flood waters receded in the area of Hundred and Long Drain, MetroNews listener Todd Varner documented some of the aftermath along Fishing Creek.

Wetzel County is among six counties where Governor Jim Justice on Saturday morning declared a state of emergency.
