MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Rivals three-star receiver Randy Fields committed to West Virginia on Sunday, tweeting “Country Roads Take Me Home.”
The 6-foot-3 Baltimore product is entering his second season at St. Frances Academy, the same school to which West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen’s son Logan recently transferred.
The Mountaineers’ top 2018 recruit so far, four-star running back Leddie Brown, also has joined St. Frances this summer.
Fields is coming off a 61-catch junior season and holds offers from Pitt and Cincinnati, with Wisconsin and Penn State having shown interest.
His commitment gives the Mountaineers 15 in this class and four receivers.
