Airman to be remembered in funeral services

RIPLEY, W.Va. — A member of the West Virginia Air National Guard who died recently in a non-combat incident in Kuwait will be remembered in funeral services Sunday.

Airman Tech Sgt. David Board, 49, of Barboursville, a member of the Charleston-based 130th Airlift Wing, died Aug. 2.

The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley. A military burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Millwood.

Board was a graduate of Ripley High School.
