Troopers investigate fatal shooting in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, W.Va. — State Police say a man is dead following a shooting in Clay County.

It happened at around 1 a.m. Saturday at a home on Cadle Run Road.

Troopers said they believe the shooting took place during a domestic dispute. Police are investigating if the shooting was in self-defense.

No arrests have been made and no names have been released at this time.
