HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Police in Maryland say a Martinsburg man whose body was found Friday morning north of Boonsboro died from a gunshot wound.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as Robert Mitchell, Jr., 53.
Specifics about the wound are not being released.
Mitchell was reported missing to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, when he was last seen leaving his residence in West Virginia between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m.
