Fayette County robbery, shooting suspect arrested

FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. — A third suspect in the August 28 home invasion and shooting has been arrested.

Bryan Keith Allen, 28 of Oak Hill, turned himself into the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday afternoon.  He faces charges of conspiracy to commit a felony and attempted robbery after the incident that injured two.

Angelia Jones was shot in the lower stomach during an alleged attempted robbery at a residence on Gatewood Road Monday night. Jones managed to grab a gun from one of the suspects and fire several shots. Three men and juvenile girl took off, police said.

Jones was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center for her injuries.  Juvenile petitions were filed against the female juvenile involved.

Police later learned Jarrell Green, 21, suffered gunshot wounds to his legs and was being treated at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill. He was charged with attempted robbery and conspiracy. Police arrested a second suspect Tuesday morning, Michael Ray Hodge, 19, of Oak Hill.

Jones and Green have since been released from the hospital.  Allen was arraigned Wednesday by the Fayette County Magistrate’s Office and remains at Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information can call the office at 304-574-3590, through their Facebook page or Crime Stoppers of West Virginia at 304-255-STOP (7876).
