Two arrested following August break-in at Fayette County home

FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. — Three people are facing charges following a series of home break-ins in Fayette County.

Shawn Christopher Adams, 40, of Hilton Village, and Kimberly Sue Foster, 36, of Nallen, are each facing one count of burglary and one count of petit larceny.

Those charges are connected to an August 28 incident at a home on Corliss Road in Hilton Village. Police claim the suspects entered the residence and broken into a safe that had prescription medication.

Foster is in Southern Regional Jail Saturday morning. Adams is also in Southern Regional Jail and faces additional legal issues for non-payment of child support and a capaias issued in Nicholas County.

The third suspect taken into custody is connected to a different burglary earlier this month. Michael Eli Burruss, 38, of Winona, faces one count of burglary and one count of grand larceny in connection to an August 14 break-in where police say multiple firearms were stolen. Burruss was also wanted on a bail piece from an arrest of an unrelated domestic violence incident early last month.
