UPDATE: Missing Fayette man found in New York

UPDATE 7:30 p.m. Monday

Oak Hill Police Chief Mike Whishman says Lawrence N. Saunders, 76, has been located safe in New York.

OAK HILL, W.Va. — A silver alert issued Sunday afternoon continues through the beginning of the week.

Lawrence Saunders, 76.

Oak Hill Police say Lawrence Saunders, 76, was last seen along High Street in Oak Hill at 9 a.m. Sunday.  He was wearing a red and white shirt and kik shorts.  He is bald with brown eyes.

Police say he may be driving a 2013 Gold Chevy Equinox, West Virginia license plate OXL643.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Oak Hill Police Department at 304-465-0597 or 911 immediately.
