Cabell County blaze claims life

CULLODEN, W.Va. — A man was killed in a house fire Tuesday afternoon in Cabell County, the state Fire Marshal’s Office said.

It happened at residence on Penn Oak Drive in Culloden. The homeowner was the victim, investigators said.

Fire crews from Culloden, Milton and Hurricane were on the scene.

The fire may have started in the attic.
