Suspect arrested in Tucker County murder

PARSONS, W.Va. — A Tucker County man has been apprehended and charged with murder.

Jason Richard White, 37, is charged with one felony count of first-degree murder. He was taken into custody late Tuesday evening and booked into Tygart Valley Regional Jail at 10:30 p.m.

The victim, identified as Nakeia Alisa Moore, 33, suffered a gunshot wound at a home on Pheasant Run in Tucker County — not far from the Randolph County community of Kerens — about 5:15 a.m. Sunday.
