Boone County suspects flee, attempt to run over police

DANVILLE, W.Va. — Boone County deputies are searching for two suspects who fled on foot in the area of Danville.

According to a release, the suspects are believed to be in the areas of Ramsey Road and Hopkins Road off of U.S. Route 119.  They are wanted after officers interrupted what is believed to be a breaking and entering in progress at the K & E Exxon early Monday morning.

One suspect allegedly tried to run over officers while attempting to flee in a vehicle.  Deputies fired at the suspects but no injuries have been reported.

They are described as white males in their 20s with a thin build. One of the suspects has a mustache. Photos of the suspects are not available. Anyone with any information of the crime or the suspects’ location is urged to call 911 immediately.
