UPDATE: I-64 reopens in Cabell County after tanker crash

UPDATE 1:45 p.m. All lanes reopened.

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — Eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 near the Huntington Mall exit in Cabell County are expected to be closed until late Monday morning following the crash of a propane tanker truck.

Authorities have detoured eastbound traffic onto U.S. Route 60 which has created long delays.

There’s has been no leak of the propane. A tow truck is being brought in to get the tanker truck upright but that’s expected to take a few hours, authorities said.

The westbound lanes are expected to be closed for a time when the tow truck arrives on the scene.
