Missing Logan County woman believed to be in danger

LOGAN, W.Va. — The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman believed to be in danger.

Kelsey Renee Grimmet, 25, was reported missing on Thursday by her father.  She is 5′ 5″ tall, 125 pounds, brown eyes and has a tattoo of a frog on her left arm.

Kelsey is believed to be with a man who tried to strangle her in a domestic battery case from August, Nathan Joe Meade.  He is described by deputies as 5′ 10″, 155 pounds, hazel eyes, brown hair and has tattoos on his right shoulder and upper left arm.

On August 25, deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a gas station near Man for a domestic assault and battery call. Grimmet had been assaulted by Meade for several hours before running to the gas station to get help.
