Deputies investigate bank robbery in Preston County

BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. — A man robbed a bank in Preston County Wednesday morning, sheriff’s deputies said.

The suspect walked into the WesBanco branch in Bruceton Mills at around 9:15 a.m. and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to reports.

Deputies are looking for a white man believed to be in his 40s or 50s with gray hair and a beard. He’s about six-foot tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.

According to the Preston County Sheriff’s Department, the man had on a Jack Daniel’s black hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans and a camouflage hat.

There were no injuries at the bank.
