Woman claims relative forced her into sex with him and other men

WINFIELD, W.Va. — A Kanawha County man faces charges of sexually assaulting a female family member and allowing other men to assault her for money. Larry Rogers, 55, of Dunbar was arrested Friday on charges of second-degree sexual assault, incest, procuring for a house of prostitution, and houses of ill fame and assignation.

The victim, who was 23 at the time, claims Rogers approached her in may about her job and inquiring if she’d like to earn substantial money and quickly. She claimed Rogers pressured her into the “job” of what she thought would be exotic dancing. She told police at Rogers’ insistence she also drank whiskey and a pill, believed to be Klonopin.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman was taken to an adult bookstore along Route 35 in Pliny, Putnam County where she was not allowed to leave. Rogers allegedly too her cell phone and physically restrained her.

She claimed in the complaint Rogers forced her into a sexual encounter while other men watched. Furthermore, she claimed several of the same men also assaulted her afterward, which was arraigned by Rogers ahead of time in exchange for money.

Rogers is lodged in the South Central Regional Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.
