Suspect wanted for questioning after potential counterfeit currency incident in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Police are searching for a male suspect who is believed to have attempted to pass counterfeit currency at a Morgantown restaurant Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect, pictured above, is described as a white male with a distinctive tattoo on his right arm and chest. The suspect has short, dark colored hair, a thin beard, and a thin goatee.

According to surveillance video at Wings Ole’ on University Avenue, employees questioned the currency that the man attempted to use. He reportedly ran out of the restaurant into the back of a four-door brown pickup truck.
