Suspect from Clarksburg Shooting now in custody

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A 17-year-old Harrison County man is now in police custody following a shooting in Clarksburg that happened late Wednesday night.

Isaiah Thompson turned himself in early this morning, after being identified as the suspect of the shooting that occurred around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A man inside of the Worley Street home asked him to leave, but Thompson refused. A struggle ensued and the suspect pulled the gun and shot the man.

That man was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
