CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Monongalia County woman became the eighth person convicted in a 33-person oxycodone drug-ring spanning from Michigan to West Virginia.
Brianna “BB” Blackman, 22, of Morgantown, admitted in court to having a drug-involved premises at an apartment in Fairmont in Marion County. She pleaded guilty to one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, located at Rhea Terrace.
Blackman faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda E. Wesley is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government. The Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
