Marion County home deemed total loss after fire

FARMINGTON, W.Va. — A house along Jamison Road in Farmington is deemed a total loss after a structure fire at the home Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported just before 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. Crews now have the fire under control.

Marion County 911 dispatchers said one person was at home at the time of the fire, but there were no injuries.

Multiple fire crews responded to the scene, including Barracksville, Baxter, Farmington, Grant Town, Mannington, Monongah, Reedsville, Rivesville, and Worthington fire departments. Harrison County crews also assisted.
