4 arrested in credit card skimming scheme

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Four people were arrested Monday for suspected involvement in a credit card skimming scheme.

According to the West Virginia State Police, the people operated the scheme from Monongalia County.

The suspects were found in a hotel in Huntington. They were charged with conspiracy to commit fraudulent use of an access device and fraudulent use of an access device.

According to authorities, the suspects are from Cuba. They will be facing charges in Cabell and Monongalia counties.

Troopers also said they believe the group committed crimes in other counties and states.
