Gallery: Bagent’s 385 yards, 6 TDs lead Martinsburg over Musselman

INWOOD, W.Va. — Martinsburg’s Tyson Bagent was dominant last week as the defending state champion and No. 2 Bulldogs beat No. 4 Musselman 62-12.

The senior quarterback threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns, while adding two more scores on the ground in the win.

Bagent, a front-runner for the Kennedy Award and MetroNews Player of the Year, has completed 70 percent of his passes on the year for 2,279 yards, 28 touchdowns and four interceptions. He’s added 119 rushing yards and five more scores on the ground.

Receiver Jarod Bowie finished the night with 140 yards receiving and a touchdown catch in the win as well.

It was Martinsburg’s 24th straight win as the Bulldogs ended the regular season at 10-0. Musselman dropped to 7-2 with the loss.
