Meth recovered from Bridgeport hotel

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — About 25 grams of crystal methamphetamine were recovered when authorities executed a search warrant at a Bridgeport motel Thursday afternoon.

Authorities with the Mountaineer Highway Interdiction Team South and the Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force executed the search warrant at the Super 8 Motel on Barnett’s Run Road near the Meadowbrook Mall.

Nicholle Knotts, 23, of Philippi, was arrested on capias warrants from Barbour and counties.

In addition to the methamphetamine, officers recovered a substantial amount of drug paraphernalia, according to Walker.

TheĀ Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms are continuing the investigation.
