WASHINGTON — U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced Friday several appointees to serve as Rural Development State Directors, including the individual that will look over West Virginia.
Kris Warner has been appointed to the position, which is responsible for implementing and organizing policies aimed at improving the life in rural America.
According to a press release, Warner has more than 25 years of experience in business development in the state, and is a charter member of Leadership Monongalia, a program aimed at educating community leaders.
