Hubbs sentenced to 10-18 years for hijacking vehicle at gunpoint

WESTON, W.Va. — An Ohio man was sentenced Tuesday to between 10 to 18 years in prison for an October 2016 robbery.

Ryan Ashley Hubbs, of Paris, Ohio, pleaded guilty last week to second-degree robbery after hijacking a vehicle at gunpoint at a Weston CVS Pharmacy parking lot. He allegedly later got involved in a car wreck that killed David Glasscock, 64, and Sandra Glasscock, 65.

Hubbs is still facing felony murder charges in Marion County, where the wreck happened.

If convicted in that case, Hubbs could spend 30 years to life behind bars.
