Boone County deputies searching for suspect in restaurant robbery

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. — Boone County authorities are looking for a man they say robbed a Comfort-area eatery Friday afternoon.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said a man with a knife robbed Sam’s Hot Dog Stand around 3 p.m.

No one was hurt.

Deputies said they are looking for a silver Ford Explorer truck model with a West Virginia plate, 1NH635. They also said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
