Charges against Herd defensive lineman dismissed

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The criminal case against Marshall defensive lineman Nyquan Harris has been dismissed. Prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss the case stemming from an incident on Sept. 9.

Police officers had responded in the early morning hours to a reported domestic incident. Harris was charged by Huntington Police, allegedly slamming the door on officers looking into a domestic call.

Harris has seen limited action this season, appearing in only two games due to injury.
