Jordan McCabe officially signs with WVU basketball

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Kaukauana, Wisconsin standout Jordan McCabe officially signed his national letter of intent with West Virginia on Thursday night, joining Derek Culver and Andrew Gordan as official signees.

McCabe, a 6-foot, 175-pound guard was named a Wisconsin first team all-state selection by the Associated Press. As a junior, he averaged 25.1 points per game and enters his senior season with 1,694 career points. McCabe was a unanimous first-team Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association all-state in Division 2.

“Obviously, Jordan brings a much-needed skill level to our point guard position,” head coach Bob Huggins said. “He is an extremely-skilled passer, ball handler and exceptional shooter. I am confident that Mountaineer fans will enjoy his skill set.”

The November signing period continues through next Wednesday.
