Two armed robbery suspects caught, one still on the run

Justin Woodrum, 25 of Charleston.

COMFORT, W.Va. — The Boone County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday that investigators are still searching for a third person involved in a Friday armed robbery.

Dustin and Miranda Clark, 28 and 27 of Barboursville, allegedly entered Sam’s Hot Dog Stand near Comfort. Mr. Clark reportedly threatened employees with a knife and wore a mask. The duo were able to take around $600 from the restaurant before fleeing in a getaway vehicle.

On Wednesday, Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies announced Mr. and Mrs. Clark were arrested. They have been arraigned in Cabell County on $40,000 cash only bond.

A third suspect is still being sought by police. Justin Woodrum, 25, was last known as living in the west side of Charleston. Deputies say he is considered armed and dangerous. All three face charges of Armed Robbery and Conspiracy.

Anyone with information on Woodrum’s location is urged to call the Boone County Sheriff’s Department at 304-369-9913 or 304-369-7340 immediately.
