CYCLONE, W.Va. — The State Fire Marshal’s Office is continuing their investigation into a fatal Thursday morning fire.

The blaze reportedly claimed the life of a 71 year-old man. The man’s identity has not been released pending family notification.

The Cyclone Volunteer Fire Department received the call to the Huff Creek Road residence at around 1:40 Thursday morning. Crews from Oceana Volunteer Fire Department assisted.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office said Friday morning that no further information is available. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
