CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Authorities are investigating the cause of a Sunday night fire that sent one person to the hospital.

The fire, which started just after 8 p.m., resulted from a propane explosion in a camper outside a North 26th Street home in the Adamston neighborhood of Clarksburg and spread to an adjacent house.

The victim was transported to United Hospital Center in Bridgeport with burn-related injuries. The patient’s condition is unknown at this time.
