MELBOURNE, Fla. — Behind 25 points from Teana Muldrow, the No. 11 West Virginia women rolled to a 75-42 win over Drexel on the second day of Paradise Jam on Friday.
Muldrow shot 10-for-16 from the field, made all five free throws and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Mountaineers (5-0).
Chania Ray finished with 11 points and four assists, while Kristina King and Katrina Pardee added 10 points each. King just missed a double-double with nine rebounds, but tied her career high with four blocks in addition to four assists.
West Virginia shot 56 percent from the field, going 6-for-8 on 3s. The Mountaineers finished with a 34-24 advantage on the glass and eight blocks while limiting the Dragons (2-3) to just 30.2 percent from the field. WVU outscored Drexel 36-8 in the paint and picked up 27 points off turnovers to go with 17 second-chance points.
West Virginia will cap off the Paradise Jam on Saturday against Virginia Tech.
