Muldrow MVP as West Virginia rolls Hokies in Paradise

MELBOURNE, Fla. – MVP Teana Muldrow’s third double-double of the season led No. 11 West Virginia to a 79-61 win over Virginia Tech in the title game of the Island Division at Paradise Jam on Saturday night.

Muldrow had a team-high 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Mountaineers (6-0), who won three games at the event. She also notched five assists and a trio of blocks on the night.

Chania Ray made a season-high five 3-pointers on her way to 17 points and five assists.

Naomi Davenport tallied 15 points and eight rebounds to go with three steals, and Kristina King added 13 points and seven boards.

Regan Magarity finished with 18 points for the Hokies (5-2).
