HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Jon Elmore made Conference USA history with 22 points and 13 assists and Marshall coasted to a 106-70 victory over Concord on Sunday night.
Elmore joined Marquette’s Travis Diener as the only league players with nine career double-double from points and assists.
Junior forward Ajdin Penava added 17 points and led with 13 rebounds for the Herd (4-2).
Marshall got 19 points from C.J. Burks and double-digit outputs from three freshmen — Darius George woth 12, Jarrod West with 11 and Jannson Williams with 10.
Division II Concord fell to 3-4.
