Putnam County toddler found safe

WINFIELD, W.Va. — A missing 16-month-old child reported missing early Thursday afternoon was found safe.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, Braylee May Green, of Hurricane, had been missing since Tuesday, when she was last seen at Forrest Burdette Day Care in Hurricane.

She was allegedly picked up by Benjamin Greene, of Sissonville, who was previously charged with aiding child concealment.

The toddler’s mother, Leslie Greene, is currently incarcerated in Barboursville for charges of child concealment, violation of protective order, domestic battery and child neglect creating risk of injury.
