Huntington police arrest 3 people for recent robberies

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Huntington police have arrested three men over the past 11 days in connection with robberies at local businesses.

Officers arrested 48-year-old Charles Martin on Monday for multiple armed robberies, including three at a Speedway convenience store, one at RC Carryout on 5th Avenue and two at the Family Dollar at 9th Avenue and 10th Street. Martin was charged in each incident.

Matthew Edward Corrigan, 26, was arrested and charged on Dec. 1 for the Nov. 28 robbery of the Dollar General on Norway Avenue.

Antonio George, 26, was arrested Nov. 25 for the Nov. 18 armed robbery of the Shell gas station at 8th Avenue and 22nd Street.
