Boyes expected to return to West Virginia soon

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Kanawha County authorities are expecting Todd Boyes to return to Charleston in the near future.

Kanawha County Prosecutor Chuck Miller told WSAZ-TV that authorities in Laredo, Texas, have authorized his return.

Todd Boyes walked out of South Central Regional  Jail on Oct. 25. He was caught trying to cross into Mexico on Oct. 29.

Boyes’ mother, Robin Helton, of Caldwell, Ohio, was charged Oct. 30 for aiding in Boyes’ escape.
