Four suspects to appear in court for alleged skimming activity in Morgantown

WHEELING, W.Va. — Four people from Florida will be in court next week after being indicted recently on charges that they used skimmers to steal credit card numbers in the Morgantown area.

Meylan Montalvo Gomez, of Hialeah, Florida; Yarai Fuentes Quinones, of Hialeah, Florida; Naudi Reyes Fernandez, of Miami; and Yosan Pons Sosa, of Miami, will appear in court after being charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit access device fraud and other related charges.

They are accused of installing skimming devices at gas pumps, uploading account information and creating fake credit cards to make unauthorized transactions at different businesses. The alleged crimes occurred between Aug. 28 and Dec. 5 in and around Monongalia County.

A warrant has been issued for Lazaro Serrano Diaz, of Miami.
