Gallery: Chapmanville dominant in basketball opener at Poca

POCA, W.Va. — Chapmanville Regional, one of Class AA’s preseason boys basketball favorites, opened up its season on Friday night with a dominating 86-41 road win over Poca.

Senior Drew Williamson led the Tigers with 19 points, while sophomore Obinna Anochili-Killen scored 16 points and senior Dylan Smith added 15 points in the win.

Chapmanville (1-0) is coming off of a state runner-up finish from a season ago and returned the core pieces from that team.

Mitch Hoffman led Poca (1-1) in the loss with 14 points.
