GRANTSVILLE, W.Va. — State police have charged a second person in connection with a deadly home invasion in Calhoun County from last week.

Evan Hershman

According to troopers, Evan Hershman, 29, is charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony. Hershman is in the Central Jail on $50,000 bail. Travis Boggs was also charged last week but remains hospital.

Troopers expect to make at least two more arrests.

The home invasion occurred Dec. 5 at the Big Bend residence of Eugene Stevens, 77. Troopers said Stevens fired at the intruders before he was shot and killed.

Boggs was dropped off at a hospital by the other people believed to be involved, troopers said.
