CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Capital senior Anthony Pittman scored 28 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked four shots during a season-opening 68-65 win over Hurricane on Friday night.

The Cougars (1-0) trailed by 12 points in the third quarter before rallying.

Hurricane was led by Jordan Nicely’s 26 points.
