HICO, W.Va. — A Detroit man is in custody after Fayette County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit found some heroin in a Saturday traffic stop.
A car being driven by Kayla Prince, 26, of Fairmont, was pulled over on U.S. Route 60 near Hico. The passenger in the car, Edward Jamal Hardon, 28, of Detroit, was arrested after the K-9 found heroin with a street value of $10,000, Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley said.
“Again this shows, do not bring drugs into our county. We are aggressive and working hard to rid our streets of drugs.” Fridley said. “Our K9 teams are valuable tools in fighting these drugs.”
