AMHERSTDALE, W.Va. — The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect in a Sunday morning stabbing in Logan County.
Deputies told WSAZ-TV the victim’s son and the suspect, Nathan Meade, came to his Dragonfly Lane residence arguing at around 11:30 in the morning. The argument moved to the porch and escalated.
The victim told deputies Meade pulled a knife he was carrying and stabbed the victim twice in the left arm. Meade also allegedly told the victim he would return to burn the house down with him and his wife in it.
Investigators believe Meade and their son fled the scene in a gold vehicle, possibly a station wagon or Ford Escort. He is classified as “armed and dangerous”.
Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
