Truck dumps load of beer in Lincoln County crash

HAMLIN, W.Va. — It took several hours to clear dozens of cases of Coors beer from the side of state Route 3 in Lincoln County following a truck wreck Tuesday morning.

The driver lost control of the rig just outside of Hamlin after running into a ditch. The truck skidded on its side, ripping the top of the trailer off.

Most of the beer was dumped out in a field beside the highway.

The driver of the truck suffered a minor injury. A passenger was not hurt.
