LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. — Logan County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nathan Meade Wednesday for his involvement in a stabbing on Christmas Eve.
Meade was hiding at a home in Spice Creek when authorities found him.
According to deputies, Meade was arguing with a man Sunday at a home on Dragonfly Lane in Amherstdale. The man’s father grabbed a knife, telling the two to leave the house. The two walked out of the house and began cussing the victim.
Meade then allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man twice in the arm. He then said he would return to the house that night and burn the house down with the victim and his wife inside.
Authorities arrested Meade on warrants for domestic battery, domestic assault, strangulation malicious wounding and assault.
