Kanawha shooting injures 2

CROSS LANES, W.Va. — A man was detained by Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies  Monday night following a double shooting in Cross Lanes.

Two men were shot as they sat in a vehicle in the Dalewood Trailer Park at around 6:30 p.m. The shooter fled the area. A man described as the suspect was taken into custody by 9 p.m.

Deputies said the shooting victims suffered non life threatening injuries. They remained hospitalized Monday night.
