Yeager Airport temporarily closed following single-plane incident

No one was hurt in the plane landing.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Yeager Airport was closed briefly Thursday evening after a private plane landed without deploying its landing gear.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Authorities said only one person was aboard the plane, a twin-engine Piper Aztec. They added the plane had suffered an engine failure.
