BECKLEY, W.Va. — The suspect’s identity in a Raleigh County shooting Wednesday has been released.

Randolph Stump

Randolph Stump is wanted after an incident in front of a Harper Road business in which he allegedly fired multiple shots at a vehicle with two people inside. It occurred just after 4 in the afternoon following an altercation in front of Mama Lina’s Cafe.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and West Virginia State Police worked together Wednesday evening on a manhunt for Stump.

It is believed that after firing shots, Stump fled in a vehicle down Sweeneysburg Road toward Fayette County. That vehicle was later found crashed.

Stump is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his location or the crime is urged to call 911 immediately.
